Meet Daniel, Oliver Brown’s store manager in our new Chester store.
Originally from Chester, Daniel now finds himself at the forefront of Oliver Brown's newly opened store in his hometown. As the store manager, he brings years of experience and a passion for craftsmanship to the team, creating a welcoming space where clients can experience the art of fine tailoring. “It’s great to be back in Chester,” he says. “This city has always been close to my heart, and now I get to share my love for style and tailoring with the local community.”
Prior to joining Oliver Brown, Daniel spent eight years at Boggi Milano, and a couple of years at Gieves and Hawkes. He learnt a lot from both brands, particularly about how to dress gentlemen with precision and care. His time at Gieves and Hawkes was particularly memorable, with one of his standout moments being the opportunity to dress Duncan Ferguson, the legendary former Everton footballer.
Daniel’s passion for tailoring was sparked by a desire to help others look their best and feel confident in their clothing. He understands how powerful a well-made suit can be; a good suit extends far beyond aesthetics - it’s about the way it makes you feel too, both inside and out.
His career has taken him far beyond Chester. He lived in Germany for two years, followed by a year and a half in Belgium, with regular trips to Milan during his time at Boggi. Of all the places he’s experienced, Italy remains his unequivocal favourite - captivated by its rich culture, exceptional cuisine, and, of course, its unrivalled fashion scene.
As store manager, Daniel’s day at work is a balance of creativity and operations. He takes great pride in visually merchandising the store, and is particularly fond of dressing the windows displays. He recognises their importance in enticing customers, thus uses them as a platform to showcase the pieces he’s most excited about - his all time favourite piece being the Navy Double Breasted Overcoat. Behind the scenes, Daniel ensures everything runs seamlessly, from organising the stock rooms to leading his team with care.
Beyond the world of Oliver Brown, Daniel is a dedicated Everton supporter with a passion for football and fitness. He is always staying active, whether that’s boxing in the gym, or going on long countryside walks with his two boys Lucas, Mateo, and his fiancée Cristina. Daniel also possesses a profound love for languages, particularly after his years living abroad which accelerated his skills in Italian and German. In regards to the future, he hopes to see Oliver Brown expand even further and continue its legacy of timeless elegance.
